Our 2014-2018 Audi a1 and s1 yellow DRL modules are a new product to the market developed and designed by us.
These modules are a great way to make your car look more aggressive and stand out from the rest, as these are the first ever yellow modules to be sold in the UK market.
The modules consist of 4 high quality yellow LED Chips which provide a bright, long lasting light. The boards are made of aluminium substrates instead of the typical fiberglass/composite boards. This increases strength and most importantly heat dissipation which ensures the modules do not overheat.
Please note - the modules replace your OEM white modules and removing your OEM modules may result in damaging them, as they are bonded on to the metal heatsink. Please ensure you check the yellow modules are compatible with your vehicle and work fully before removing your OEM modules.
INSTALLATION:
- Remove headlights.
- Unscrew the DRL module heat sinks from the back of the headlights.
- Pull off and unplug the wire.
- *Plug the yellow drl module chip into the wire and reconnect the headlight to the car to make sure the yellow drl modules work with your car. Turn sidelights on to confirm*
- Use a Stanley knife blade to remove the old module from the heat sink.
- Clean the area with sanding paper/adhesive to remove any residue.
- Use the thermally conductive glue (link provided) to add 2 small drops to the back of the drl modules.
- Stick the DRL modules back in place on the heat sinks, where the old modules were placed.
- Let the glue set for a few hours minimum. 24 hour setting time recommended.
- Screw the modules and heat sinks back onto the headlights and reinstall!
*The modules are only compatible with 2014-2018 Audi a1 facelift models and S1 models, equipped with xenon headlights.
**PLEASE NOTE THE MODULES MUST BE INSTALLED CORRECTLY USING THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE ADHESIVE, OR THE PRODUCT WARRANTY WILL BE VOID**
